Der Standort der Raffinerie definiert weitgehend das Marktumfeld. Holborn European Marketing Company Ltd ist ein wichtiger Akteur, der den Energiebedarf des lokalen Marktes deckt. Dies ist der Kernmarkt innerhalb der logistischen Peripherie der Raffinerie. In einem wettbewerbsintensiven Umfeld konnte sich das Unternehmen mit einem landesweiten Marktanteil von 5% erfolgreich etablieren.

 

In Abstimmung mit der Raffinerie hat Holborn die IMO 2020 Bestimmungen fuer die Produktion des niedrigschweligen Schweroels von 0.5%, seit Oktober 2019, eingehalten.

The Market we operate

  

The refinery’s location defines to a large extent the market envelope. Holborn European Marketing Company Ltd is a major player fulfilling the energy needs of the local market. This is the core market which is within the logistical periphery of the refinery. Operating in a competitive environment the company has been successful in establishing itself with a country wide market share of 5%. 

In coordination with the refinery the company has met the IMO 2020 regulations for the  production of  the 0.5% VLSFO since October 2019.

Holborn European Marketing Company Limited was incorporated in Cyprus on 7 November 1987 and is based and operates from its freehold offices in Larnaca. Its principal activities revolve around the purchasing of crude oil and feedstocks, the selling of the refined products and the trading in oil products.
